Purpose built in 1991, Newtonmore Hostel is at the rear of Craigellachie House on Main Street, believed to be the oldest house in the village.
The hostel sleeps 10-12 persons in 3 bunk-bedded rooms. There are three toilets and showers, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area with wood burning stove, and of course, a super drying room. We also have dry secure overnight storage for bikes.
The hostel is owned by four of us (More About us). We are open seven days a week, all year round so please feel free to contact us if you have any queries.
Standard price is £20 per person per night. Everything is included in the price, heating, hot water, firewood, even tea and coffee and if you cannot bear to be parted from the internet, there’s free Wi-Fi too. We have parking for up to five cars. It is possible to hire the hostel for exclusive use, please contact us for further details.
We love dogs, and if possible we will allow them in the hostel. We would urge dog owners to contact us by telephone as we are sympathetic to the problems trying to find dog friendly accommodation.
